Sedgewick for HViciPrice by A3ulez Sedgewick for HViciPrice by A3ulez
Baron Aramis Byron Maximilian Sedgewick is the property of HViciPrice. He's a character from her Ragtag Touristers. I mde him a little older and meaner looking than I intended, but I hope you like him! Man, he must have some super thick hair for it to stay that way o.o

Bah, suddenly noticed his nsoe was too long, but that's okay! You had him with a longish nose, too, I think :|

...WOW.

Sorry for taking so long to comment on this! I actually first saw it about a week ago and was like **...drools of incredible astoundment..**, if "astoundment," is in fact a word. And even if it's not. Anyhoo, I wanted to leave a good comment, and drool monkeys can't leave good comments.

This totally rocks. About time someone figured out the mystery of Sedgewick's hair. I've been wanting to turn out my own realistic piece of him for a while, but I've never been able to determine where his cowlick rests and such. Curse my cartoony drawing style! ...Ok, not really... And yes, he does have rather thick hair.

It's okay that he looks somewhat old and mean. Frankly, he is somewhat old and mean. By typical Earth years, he's in his forties or early fifties (which isn't really that old...), but living in space and the general attention he devotes to his health takes about a decade or so off of his looks. He's also not the best person to be around if you don't speak more than ten languages...he can be an intellectual snot sometimes...

This makes me happy! :excited:

Hehe ^^ I'm glad you like it! His cowlicks will leave a profound impact on my perception of reality B-) I wish my cowlicks were so intruiging. No, mine just have to be annoying. But hey, living in space should make him younger anyway, right? If it's colder, and there is less oxygen in the air, then apparently you age slower or some such? I haven't gotten a good grasp on the idea yet, but it's neato ^^ as are drool monkeys =D

I think so, by some theory of Einstein's or something. I still have yet to do any research on that area of space life. I probably need to get onto that, though, because it comes into major play with Vanzander Goodfellow. He's lived out in space for a fair fraction of his life, but his circumstances are different from Sedgewick's in some ways. Example: Sedgewick's space mansion comes complete with liveable gravity. Goodfellow's ship only gained some just a month or so before the novel starts, so he's bound to look different. (I've read accounts from astronauts and such that living in Zero G actually makes muscles shrink, because there's no need to work them as there is on Earth; you just float if you need to move. So now I have to come up with a design for Goodfellow that is skinny without being unsettlingly creepy. Rar. He also has webbed toes, which really doesn't help in the normalizing area, either...)

Haha! Unsettlingly creepy-- I got this image of skin hanging off the bones, which was icky. That is pretty interesting, though. I sure wish I had a space mansion :o

Eew! **pictures skin-hanging-off-bones Goodfellow** Yeah, that is icky. Though according to the minimal research I have done, skin wouldn't necessarily hang off bones if given the circumstances. It's a gravitational thing again--gravity drags blood and whatnot downward, but in a Zero G situation, no such "hanging" would be possible. Instead of going down, blood spreads out, resulting in a "puffy" look that may still look somewhat emaciated, depending on the individual situation. **pictures puffy Goodfellow** Hee hee...:giggle:

o.o Oh, good, puffy isn't as bad as the rippling/bubbling skin I pictured for a second, hehe. So I suppose he'd be skinny but not boney. Hmmm. I like this guy already for some reason, hehe ^^ Of course, he's the romantic interest, isn't he? Or was it that Astrid got weirded out that he liked her?

He's sort of the romantic interest. It doesn't really happen until late in the story, when a certain Huge Spoiler!plot development distracts Goodfellow from his pirate-hunting and lets Astrid show that she can do more than whine it the situation is dire enough. Thus, Goodfellow begins to appreciate Astrid for her unexpected competence, and Astrid begins to like Goodfellow when she discovers his unexpectedly likeable non-captainy nature. It's not really a falling-in-love-head-over-heels thing, though. I can't stand love at first sight romances...

Yes, those don't really make sense O.o ever. I prefer the strained relationships where people dislike each other greatly and eventually grow to fancy each other against their will =D. And the award goes to--- Much Ado About Nothing! Congratulations Shakespeare, you're still the best after being dead 300+ years. That's sort of sad, but I suppose it's the truth about romances. So your story has pirate hunting, huh? Hunting space pirates is fun. It makes me miss my Star Wars books :)

I hated doing his hair, haha. It took me a while o.o But it makes it all the better that you liked it =) thanks! But you're getting very good. Keep in mind that I'm only good because I had no life for the last 8 years of my life and barely ever went out side ^^
