Description
I really don't like this painting because of the few anatomical errors. Wow, that just reminded me of the Data Song by Voltaire-- "He's fully functional--- and anatomically correct!" That song is hilarious, by the way, and you should all check it out. But yes, i finally took this out of scraps since based on the material I put in my section, it doesn't really belong there. This was a painting I did for a contest on FAC. I rushed through it just to get the idea out of my head. Basically, it's a merman out of water-- ouch. He's drying out, and his skin is so dry it's cracking =0! That sucks.

But anyway... *cough*... I love the idea of this piece. Well done in getting the anguish across his face, and your shading. My only bit of helpful input is that his torso looks a bit too small.. too short, that is. But, as it can't be changed now, and it you made up for it in other areas of the picture, it's not the end of the world. Lovely idea, and excellent piece of traditional art.
